Let's Get Famous
After a very successful first event in Portland, Oregon, Seattle is the second stop on the Podcast Hotel World Tour with an event that will turn a local club and a loft space into podcast studios and recording stages for people to create their own shows, learn from experts and discuss the overall ramifications of grass roots media on our culture and society.
And that's what we do during the day. At night, the best bands, DJ's, hip hop artists and performers from Seattle, the Pacific Northwest and beyond will get together to perform and be recorded for podcasts that will promote the artists and their works to the world.

We want to make you famous. At the Podcast Hotel, we promote artists and their works. Our mission is to create an art movement. And we want you to be a part of it. We'll help you build a fan base and show ways to grow it. We're entering the age of a new artisan culture, where there will be more stars yet fewer blockbusters. Mass media is changing fast. At the Podcast Hotel, our goal is to help guide people through this landmark shift so they know the new way to reach fans they never dreamed they could have.

The Podcast Hotel is an event where anyone can learn how to be a star. Everyone is welcome. We will draw on the city’s thriving indie music scene and core concentration of bloggers, podcasters and technologists who will discuss mobile culture, copyright issues and how art and commerce intersect in podcasting and video podcasts. We’ll hear from music executives, getting their take on what podcasting means for the future of indie culture and mass media. We’ll address podcast promotions, distribution opportunities and the methods for reaching people who are spread across a million different micro communities. We’ll help attendees create podcasts, setting up studio demonstrations to help people get started.
And we'll have a great time...just like we did in Portland.
